Safe Schools Program
At NQ Video Surveillance, we have developed a Safer Schools Program aimed at preventing bullying and keeping children safe while attending school. This program is something we are extremely proud of.
The Safer Schools Program includes installing cameras in bullying hot spots within the school along with wall-mounted duress alarms which activate a camera above them and an alarm in the school administration office enabling a quick response.
The benefits of this system are that students feel safer within school grounds and would-be bullies may be deterred due to increased likelihood of being identified.
The presence of cameras within the school grounds also discourages vandalism and trespassing.
We have completed CCTV installations for the following schools:
- Trinity Bay High School
- Cairns State High School
- Atherton State school
- Cook Town State School
- Edmonton State High School
- White Rock State School
NQ Video Surveillance offers the Safer School Program from Townsville to Port Douglas, including Tully, Mission Beach, Innisfail, Cairns, Mareeba, Atherton and everywhere in between.
